Hello, I just joined the community today and here's my
introductory survey answers ^_^.

4. Favorite Tim Burton movie? Live Action? Ed Wood :) (so funny...), Animated? Corpse Bride!
That one was beautifully done and felt like a Hans Christian Anderson story (but not all
Disney-fied ;).

5. Favorite Tim Burton character? Ooh, tough choices there. I'll go with Victor from Corpse
Bride for now ^_^.

6. Which character do you feel you most closely resemble? I don't think I resemble any of
them, but in character traits I kind of identify with the crazy creative types in Tim's
movies (Ed Wood and Willy Wonka for the win! :).

7. Which Burton movie has the best soundtrack? Haven't listened to enough of them to make a
proper choice, but I'm enjoying the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory soundtrack right now.
So much fun ^_^. I'm fast becoming an Elfman fan.

8. Tim, I love you, but what were you thinking when you made...Mars Attacks (yikes! 0_0
the aliens in that one freaked me out man...*shivers*)

9. Which is the most annoying Burton character? none of them were annoying in my mind

10. If I could live in a Burton movie it would be... Charlie and the Chocolate factory.
For serious. Who doesn't want to live in a 'world of pure imagination' ^_^.

11. People say that I am most like this Tim Burton character: Nobody's every compared
me to any of them. How sad :(

12. What movie would you like to see Tim Burton remake? Edit -- I think I'll change
my answer. I'd actually love to see Tim make some of the Discworld novels. I think
he could do a brilliant version of the Granny Weatherwax stories and maybe Reaper
Man too ^_^.

13. If you could change one thing about one Burton movie, what would it be? I have my own
small, Charlie and the Chocolate factory nit-picks, but other than those, nothing. (And I
love it the way it is anyhow ^_^)

14. If you could ask Tim Burton one question, what would you ask? I don't have any
questions but I'd love to trade some sketches with him ^_^ He drew up most of the
Charlie and the Chocolate factory storyboards and character designs for instance.
I love the one of Augustus flying up the pipe to the fudge room with the Oompa-Loompas
doing syncronized swimming underneath him ^0^.

Danny Elfman's compositions rock. u.u CLASSICAL. ^__^ Antonio Vivaldi mainly. u.u And Mozart. =D; Jim Brickman does AMAZING piano pieces as well. ^.^; I love Oingo Boingo, 'n a LOT of 80's music. XD I am not very modern. I also like people that most people have never heard of! =D Like Katie Melua. ^.^ And Enya...I like lots of music is what I'mma trying to say. XD But I hate rap. ~.~;;;

17. What other movies are you interested in? XD;; Chick flicks. XD;; Hee...and movies about angels. o.o

Hi, I'm Alex and I am here, cuz obviously, I LOVE Tim Burton's stuff. o-o; Watched TNBC at a young age and fell in love with it, then bought the DVD and saw Vincent much later. u.u I then saw Edward Scissorhands and I SWEAR. ^__^ That movie KICKS ass. O.O The music rocked so I bought the soundtrack and learned to love Danny Elfman for more than Jack's voice. XD

^-^ I bought the TNBC soundtrack after that, watched Beetlejuice, which was of course, hilarious. XD And a year later, now I have seen Burton's version of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" on opening day. May I review that? u.u; 8D DEPP DID A GREAT JOB AT WONKA. o.o; Brought this wacky, childish version the other guy (Wylder his name? o.o) never could. o.o; And it was SO funny, I swear my sides hurt so bad after. XD

And then on opening day I saw "Corpse Bride".

Okay...movie?

AWESOME. o.o Seriously, it kicked so much ass. Emily was so CUTE. She is, totally, what I would be like if I was a Burton creation. O.O And Victor was adorable too. ^-^ Artistic guys...I like me a guy that plays instruments.

I was thrilled when I discovered Elfman composed some piano pieces. o.o; And that soundtrack...get it. o_o; You will NOT be disappointed.

Call me horrible but I thought it better than even TNBC. ^.^;; It didn't sing as much (and I was a bit disappointed...I wanted to hear Johnny Depp sing. XD), but the characters were loveable. ^-^ Most of them anyway. You MUST see this movie. u.u

Yes. Anyway, I hope to become a good part o' this community.

Corpse Bride

Well, the movie has been out a full week, who all has seen it? Any opinions? =) I thought it was pretty good, but really, it's too hard for me to compare it to Nightmare before Christmas like most people ^^; They were too different for me. Any other thoughts? If you havn't seen it, I highly reccomend it!

i got to go see a premiere screening of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on monday, AND IT WAS SOOOOOO AWSOME AND HILARIOUS! Johnny Depp was meant for the role as Willy Wonka, and let me just say that Charlie's house in the movie was sooooo Tim Burton. *applause*

i have a question.. as everyone knows Tim Burton made The Nightmare Before Christmas... but. did he have anything to do with James and The Giant Peach?
because if you have ever noticed when they go down into the ship there is a skeleton and the one guy i forget his name goes "look its a skellington" and the skeleton stands up and it looks exactly like jack but in a pirate coat and hat...
